Truck RACE thread --- Bristol

8:11-Truck green, stages, 65-65-120, 4 sets tires, fuel run 130-145. To the rear: Maggio (who didn’t make a qualifying lap after debris from the car).

Fox talking about the playoff schedule. Remember that when people complain about NBC's playoff obsession and say 'Fox didn't do that!'. They do when they're covering the Truck playoffs

Don’t forget, these truck regulars like it when Kyle Busch races these truck races. That’s what the announcers always tell us. I haven’t figure out which part they like about it the most, whether it be losing out on a stage win, losing out on stage points or finishing the race in second…but they like it!

True Busch is spanking the hell out of them, but it can change in a heart beat.

They don't talk about the Playoffs as obsessively in Xfinity and Cup broadcasts because they don't have the Playoffs.

Exactly. If they did, they'd talk about them as much as they do with the Trucks.

In NBC's defense, and I'm an adamant playoff-hater, the "Playoff Picture" provides a ton of drama and storylines.

I would like this format A LOOOOOT MORE if "Win and You're In" was done away with, or the requirements were tweaked significantly there.

Real good one, Trucks aren't wrecking very much so far this year. Good job Eckes

Says a lot about your expectations when you lead as much as Kyle did, finish second and he still says he didn’t run as good as he’s accustomed to. Say what you want about him, but Kyle has no lack of confidence in himself. Your average person can learn a lot from the guy.

Had a party at the house tonight and had the race in the background. What I saw looked like a good one.

I'll go with what Waltrip said. Sanchez had a run on the high side and Friesen tried to close the door.

In this case, I wasn't criticizing NBC as much as pointing out that Fox does it too.
