Game of Thrones

Damn it I knew John Snow was a Targarian

A Targeryen, Martell, and Tyrrell alliance along with the Dothraki and Unsullied armies? Cersei may be in trouble

I love the medieval period, but I refuse to watch this show. Know why? Because it's popularity is proof that most people are simply too lazy to read. They'd rather wait and wait and wait for episode after episode than pick up the damn book and just read the friggin' story.

I've read the books and still watch the show. The books are better, but that's pretty much always the case with any movie or show.

Don't tell me how I'm supposed to relax after the work week.

Season finale was phenomenal. No dreaded cliffhanger, and setup the final season perfectly. S**T is about to go down, but we have to wait nine months for it.

Cersei better not get too comfy. My prediction is she and her faux claim will get taken out in the first couple of episodes and then Dani would take over and people will rally behind her to try to defeat the Knight's King army.

If the rumors turn out to be true there are only 14 episodes left 7+7 so you cant mess around with upsurping anybody anymore.

But I hope they keep it as is. 10 Episodes each would be so nice.

I downloaded the audiobooks +two extra books. A Knight of Seven Kingdoms and The World of Ice and Fire: Untold stories of Westeros.

They're 15+ hours each. That should keep me busy until next year.

I think Jaime will be the one to take out Cersei. The look he had on his face as she sat on the throne wasn't a happy one.

You think he'll validate his Kingslayer title ?
I think he'll bring his story full circle. He took out the mad king, removing a Targaryen from the throne and setting up his family to claim the throne and I think he'll take out his sister (the mad queen?), which will lead to a Targaryen reclaiming the throne, not that Daenerys will need his help.

Are there any bastards on the show that have survived to this point, with the exception of Jon? All of the Lannister kids are dead and Ramsay Bolton is dead. Also, I think, with the exception of Jon, everyone that has claimed to be King of the North has died (Robb, Ned, Ramsay). I wonder if this points to Jon's ultimate fate?

Damn you producers. Season 7 will get delayed because they are filming most of their episodes during winter and apparently this will require some time adjustment.

No official release day yet but won't be in April for sure.

Robert's bastard, Gendry, is still rowing that boat somewhere.
