The F-35 is the most expensive and overhyped lemon ever. Yeah, they say it's the most technologically advanced military aircraft ever. But the thing is overengineered to the point of uselessness.

I'm sure that in the end their "testing" will show the F-35 to be superior, because they've been trying to scrap the A10's for years now. But in reality the best aircraft for the ground support role are the A10 and the old Broncos they brought out of retirement to use against ISIS: http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/11/politics/decades-old-planes-used-against-isis/index.html

I love the A-10's. We have fort leonard wood just down the road from us, and they are always flying over, I can tell the second I hear them that's an A-10 coming over really low lol.
