Chase wasn't sandbagging to get ran over. His CC called him into the pits and he was told on the radio that the drivers knew he was pitting. Apparently they didn't.

I'm saying the 48 team for sandbagging. Chase is for not making it clear he was diving to pit road and almost smoking a utility vehicle under caution like Montoya.

Wow, I don't know where to start with this one. Crazy format with some obvious shortcomings, the teams that didn't pit to get 2 tires under the "free caution", the teams trapped a lap down that should have taken just 2 tires to get the wave around if they beat the leader out of the pits, the 24 for jacking up the field when pitting when he did, and I may be overlooking someone else. Too many to keep up with.

Whoever decided on the inversion. Sandbagging has always been the result of an inversion. Everyone knew someone would hang back for 12th position.
Honorable mention to Kes for the format, and whoever didn't foresee a late-segment caution.

If Brad was the person that came up with this he gets to wear a dunce cap until the 4th of July. I would not accuse him of being a few fries short of a Happy Meal but he ain't the best and the brightest in my estimation.

Brad's a pretty smart guy most of the time. This format he came up with for the ASR is an exception.Brad is actually quite articulate and intelligent in my opinion.

Well (even tho I see know proof that it was a Kez idea) then it appears that it was Nascar execution of the new rules that marred the event.

Brad Keselowski: "I think it played out fine", lol. Penske guys finished 1-2, I'm sure you do think it played out fine.
While the race did produce an exciting final segment, it's pretty much the consensus of the media, the fans, and most of the drivers that the format itself was a colossal failure.

I didn't even realize he was the Grand Marshal until now (screw the pre-race crap). Just watched a clip of it on Youtube and he seemed annoyed by it.
