I don't know if it will be this season, but we will eventually have a championship decided by someone like a Truex Jr--out of the fight but aligned with a contender--making passing very easy for a JGR car while holding up someone else, or a convenient spin by an aligned team. This will be a nightmare scenario for NASCAR. It's one thing to alter the Chase contenders because of manipulation like MWR at Richmond, it's quite another to change who the champion is.
