Jimmie Johnson's win at Darlington Sunday came in his 80th career start. The last driver to record a Darlington victory earlier in his career was Terry Labonte who recorded his first Darlington victory in only his 59th career start in the 1980 Southern 500.
 
Nice stat Tony! Now can you tell me when Jeff Gordon's last DNF was and how many he has had in his cup career please?
 
The last Jeff Gordon DNF was fairly recent. He was involved in an accident in last year's Southern 500. That would make it 15 races in a row without a DNF prior to today.

And I count 52 DNFs in Jeff's career. I may be off a couple, but it's pretty close.
