Nationwide announces 3-year deal with Dale Earnhardt Jr. starting in 2015 as primary sponsor of No. 88 Cup Car.

12 races in 2015, 13 in 2016 and 2017.

Stenhouse already losing Corporate Support?

Yep.

Farmers gone for Kahne too. But then there's this.....

@bobpockrass

HMS: "Our team has a terrific relationship with the people at Farmers Insurance, and we're having positive discussions about the future."

If he can pull that one off he's a helluva businessman.

So Stenhouse has lost both Best Buy and Nationwide so far this year. Won't be long until he's in the unemployment line considering RFR's track record with sponsors.

Terrible track record... I've never understood it.

wow...
Maybe DP will dump him too so she can concentrate more on racing

The beginning of the end for Kahne.

Nationwide insurance must be booming. Sponsoring an entire series & a cup ride for 3 seasons? That **** ain't cheap

One of the reasons why Roush has been struggling. A lack of sponsorship to HMS and Gibbs teams, I hope one day they will be consistent front runners again. Not every other race.

When you are the biggest supported team of a manufacturer and you're losing sponsors left and right, you better find out what's wrong with your organization. Roush slides farther down the food chain as each season goes by.

I've always thought Roush is a victim of his own creation. He was the first guy to heavily incorporate "sponsor cobbling" several years back, so now it's the norm for a driver to have multiple sponsors during a season. A Nationwide can now jump from Stenhouse to Dale Jr with ease, because drivers now no longer have full season commitments to one primary sponsor as they did in the past.

Wont be long now before the CAT throws in the towel...

I really don't think Stenhouse will last long in Cup, at least not with a top team. He hasn't proven anything so far and he doesn't have the media presence to make up for his lack of results either.

Yeah, in that case, it probably is.

I guess Farmers had to leave to make the Nationwide thing work. Might have been a conflict of interest to have one Cup team representing Farmers and another representing Nationwide.
SHR still has sponsors independent of HMS (Budweiser and Coca-Cola); they would be well-served by putting Kahne in one of their cars.

:XXROFL:

So, this may be a dumb question, but will he still have the Diet Mountain Dew and National Guard sponsorships next season?
Mountain Dew/AMP are signed through next year. National Guard hasn't been renewed yet but they didn't re-up for 2014 until October last year.

Wasn't bringing Fenway on board supposed to solve Roush's sponsorship woes ? I haven't seen any improvement .

A quick glance at their results since they became Roush-Fenway in 2007 yields 39 wins.

Roush had 70 wins in that same time frame prior to the merger.

Sorry , I meant bringing new sponsors on board . I thought that Jack felt that he needed help in that area , so he brought in a Fortune 500 guy to help.
