Waiting for Toyse to send me the pictures, but we put new wheels and tires on the car this week. We have a race tomorrow, then we're taking the engine out and replacing the head gaskets over the next 2 weeks.

On an unrelated note, 2 promods crashed tonight. One got loose and tagged the wall. Gene Hector (Small Block Mafia) made a polesitting run of 4.00, but had no chute deployment, stuffing it into the hay bales.
4 weeks ago, he was on a 3.90 and they had to completely front-half the car after no deployment. This time, he made it further around the curve, and just clipped the haybales with the nose, chassis was fine, body was tossed. Seems to me, somebody needs to double check the chute mechanisms....I would never trust an air release. Lever, please!
In Round 1, somebody else ran 4.25 and had no chute, started bouncing and pitching sparks, the chutes finally came out about 300 feet before the turn, and he was able to make it (barely).
