Snowball Derby today, listen live

I have been following along since practice on thursday. We will see how many Steven Wallace takes out. If he can keep a motor in it. Been alot of broken motors this week. Should be a good race.

Unfortunately no just the radio broadcast that KG posted and the other trackside coverage that speed51 does.

Ran door to door with DJ Vanderlay cleanly for the last 5 laps. Cant find guys that have been in the cars for years that would run that clean in the last 5 laps of the snowball derby.

And Johanna Long won last year... where is she now?

Chase Elliott has the most money, he will win the majority of super late model races he wins. Still not sold on him. We'll see how he runs in the big cars.

I would say 100%. ;)

Allow me to rephrase (some of us are working on a much needed bottle of Jack Daniels) -- he should win at least 80% of the super late model races he runs (which he doesn't). I think the kid's gonna be the next Steven Wallace.

Once he's able to race (not just win with the best car money can buy) other guys, and make quality passes in K&N and ARCA, I'll start to change my mind. Success in super late models with millions of dollars behind you means nothing.

I agree the verdict is still out on Chase, he looks promising, but there are no guarantees.

That's not a slam, just a wait and see. He will get his shot at Cup, until then who knows.

Just messing with you on the win typo. Steven Wallace? I haven't seen Chase race, but I give Rick Hendrick more credit on picking talent.

Everyone that missed the Snowball missed a hell of a race, I'm still recovering from it, LOL.
Great lil clip of the last few laps, all the ones before that where Great racing also! Gotta point out a few things:
Chase Elliot drove a heck of a race for a 16 year old but what you Might not know is Vanderlay ( car on the outside ) is only 19 and that the car right there in third is Ross Kenseth 18 ALL of them ran great.
After setting a new track record and grabbing the pole my old freind Sonny Pollards son Bubba ( I was kidding him he's Old at 25 :D ) had a heck of a drive. It's a shame he got tangled up in a early lap car incident not of his making and lost a lap things happen Quick on this track. Bubba made the lap up and was on his way back the front but late race cautions and some car damage kept him from a great finish. Bubba's saying he may have a ARCA ride lined up for next year again, hope so.

That would be cool. Seems like Bubba has been winning everything in the south lately. If he aint first hes in the top 5 usually.
