I'm pretty sure 'Steve' is an actor but it's a funny premise for a commercial. Gordon did a good job I remember when he hosted SNL a few years back.
Yeah, there were a couple tells in there, but it was still pretty damn funny, and JG pulled it off well.I'm pretty sure 'Steve' is an actor but it's a funny premise for a commercial. Gordon did a good job I remember when he hosted SNL a few years back.
I was thinking the same thing. usually they hold an ID hostage.Either that salesman is an actor (pretty sure this is the case) or didn't follow protocol. Aren't you supposed to show a driver's license before a test drive?
Still very funny! This should be a commercial during a race sometime (as long as it's the only commercial during the break it's in).
While it was Jeff Gordon, he did NOT do most of the stunt driving. An employee of Richard Petty Driving School did most of the driving. It was filmed at a dealership in Concord.

So wait Jeff Gordon is NOT a professional driver? One dead giveway that this was, while very entertaining, not quite real: "Do not attempt. Professional driver on a closed circuit."
I was quoting the whole text. Yes, Gordon is a professional driver, but the fact that was on a closed circuit as my main point. So wait Jeff Gordon is NOT a professional driver?
My tip off was the "cup holder" on the center AC vent. One dead giveway that this was, while very entertaining, not quite real: "Do not attempt. Professional driver on a closed circuit."
Yeah, that too.My tip off was the "cup holder" on the center AC vent.
agreed. Or maybe he is a salesman that they plucked to be an actor? hahaI simply enjoyed it before I started dissecting. That actor did one hell of a job, because he made me forget all the evidence against him being a real salesman

The fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro is a pony car produced by General Motors and marketed under the Chevrolet brand.[5] It is the fifth distinct generation of the Camaro to be produced since its original introduction in 1967. Production of the new Camaro began on March 16, 2009[6] after several years on hiatus since the previous generation's production ended in 2002 and went on sale to the public in April 2009 for the 2010 model yearPlus the fact that there is no 09 Camaro.
More than that on my Facebook feed.Yes this is fake and Pepsi are geniuses for doing this. Make a commercial to look like a viral video. Put online and profit. This video has been posted at least 7 times in the last 2 days on my Facebook wall by non-nascar fans. It has probably been viewed over millions of times. Basically got Super Bowl commercial coverage for about zero cost.
