Cup RACE thread --- Loudon

Going back & forth between NFL & the race.

From what Ive seen, the racing has been entertaining. But its quite obvious why these NFL games are succeeding in every category when it comes to eyes. NASCAR is way too sold out. The number of commercials & onscreen ad graphics during the race is beyond nauseating. There is more attention given to Corporate than the actual sport. Finally, there is plenty of racing action on track, but TV is too focused on 'the chase' single cars just riding around - the coverage is flat out boring compared to the actual racing going on.

That being said, Go Elliott :)

Yeah, half of the time they aren't in an actual commercial they are in an in-race commercial

I'd trade half of the commercials for the "non-stop" time slots.

It's a shame that Matt"the kid" Kenseth is so set on retiring young. This youthful competitor seems to have found something

If Danica wins this everybody on here is invited to my naked yoga party.

So lets not mention that Kurt's car fell off the jack

As Annett hits the wall, you notice some money falling out of the side of the car.
Too soon. Take a look at the closing laps at the 2014 championship race and ask yourself that same question.

The sport is a rolling advertisement. The cars are sponsored, the tracks have signage galore, and every aspect of the race is nearly sponsored. Its a headscratcher as to why so many TV spots are necessary.

Not every sponsor on the cars is paying NBC/FOX, not every track sponsor is paying NBC/FOX, so there is still a need for all the spots.

If there were less than 5 to go there'd be a caution for that lol

If anyone rates this race above a 6 (other than the winner's fans). You should no longer be eligible to vote!

The radio can't even make this crap sound exciting.

Side note: Danica fans may also vote higher if they give credit to BF.

How did the 88 get all that left rear damage ?

...on second thought...get out of the way Danica...they are gonna wreck you for sure :blink:
