Larson: 'NASCAR's kept a closer eye on our team

Pretty close eye on the 22 as well. ;)

Everybody who gets busted says this lol.

Kurt Busch would **** up speed on pit road or something when he was driving for Phoenix Racing running dead last and still blame his errors on NASCAR watching him more closely.

Fascinates the crap out of me.

Chad and Jimmie :booya:

It doesn't bother me. Those engineers are pushing the limit. @aunty dive pointed out that the engineering staff at Ganassi has improved huge. Wonder if there is a connection between that, and the troubles the 42 has been having. Interesting stuff.

I wish NASCAR would allow more wiggle room with the setup...

Let the best team of engineers win!

as he said, it hasn't made a difference, who knows how much he used up his car getting to the front, he reported some damage too during the race. Lost some spots late during his pit stop. He was faster than Denny but he was held up passing Kenseth and ran out of laps. It's racing. Trurex said his car wasn't very good after the first stage and Denny said they ran a perfect race. Kyle got all of the speeding penalties that Denny usually gets.:p

Who knows? Point being that the 42 has been creative....as has the 22. It's really a cool part of this sport IMO.

Very naive comment by the 42 team

he thinks they are, after getting caught for the creative hoses last week, it stands to reason they would be watching the 42. Kyle thinks it was just "little things" . Compared to fans running in reverse for extra down force, crooked splitters it might be. I'm waiting for them to take the 78 apart. Probably a bad angle but the 78 looked wider today.

But Kyle's comment after the qualifying stuff was that he didn't know anything about the car. He just drives it. Kind of like when Joey said they went too far after Gordon said that the skew stuff had no advantage. When a team doesn't appeal, maybe just hush?

Public knowledge today what the 42 team did. He could have learned it after the fact? who knows it really isn't important, they pretty much all say that. Joey said the same thing after the fact. I believe Danny didn't know about the cheated up splitter on the Gibbs xfinity car.

There is no one by the name of Danny driving a JGR Xfinity car, who are you talking about?

Yeah, that grey area, and I agree , but giving teams more room to work in that area could mean more room to skirt the rules, I want to see the best out there, not he best because teams are cheating.

What I am saying, its fine line, but that is why the engineers get paid the big bucks.

Danny is like Richie and Joanie Cunningham's older brother Chuck who appeared briefly and then disappeared never to be heard from again. I suspect Joe Gibbs stabbed then both in the back and they subsequently perished.

It wouldn't hurt Chase Elliott to use a cheated up a car to get a race win as he never seems to run really poorly but can't ever get the job done either. The kid needs a statement win this year as going into year 3 with a goose egg will be entering into Samuel Taylor Coleridge territory.

Kind of funny how Larson and Elliot went from being the saviors after the old guys call it quits, and now Larson is trumping himself on twitter, and chase looks like the second coming of Kyle Petty, or worse, a Kerry Earnhardt.

I think Nascar is keeping a closer eye on Logano than Kyle.
In all the years I have been watching, Nascar seems to go out of their way to prove they can handle Penske, jealousy IMO.

Sorry, the only Coleridge I remember is 'Kubla Khan', and I don't see how that applies.

Chase just needs to close the deal.

In relation to Chase falling into the Coleridge territory I was thinking of "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" where the mariner ends up with an albatross around his neck which I think Chase will have going into next year without a win. The days of riding around and proving yourself are gone as if you are in top equipment and have not won by year 2 something ain't right. There are always exceptions though.

I'm trying to scale back.....at least for this week. #TwoSpeedingPenaltiesScrewedMYRace :D
humility from humiliation haha I like that. Had to be a hard pill to swallow, I thought Kyle Damn Busch was going to win (Hambone is a close second) and it was going to be unbearable round here.:p:D

I'm in the place where I'm just waiting for something to go wrong (I think he is too). It did. At least one of MY TRD powered Toyota '18 Camrys won. Really, all I care about is that TRD gives him a car quick enough to win. What happens after that is whatever happens. To put it another way....when we were blowing engines in '13 under Kyle, it was the lowest point in my Toyota fandom. This is nothing compared to that.
