I know all of you have seen this car before. The Tyrrell P34 six wheeler.

But have you ever seen this one before? It's the Alfa Romeo T33/6/12 built and tested in 1970 at Sebring.

I'll bet you haven't. I can't believe some of the stuff they tried back then.

Modifieds at the old Penn National Speedway. They had a fire there and the place is completely gone now, bulldozed to the bare earth. I was there once or twice, once I remember a race in March where we all barely avoided frostbite.

Here's a shot of the speedway while the horse racetrack was being built back in the early 1970's. ..

Now the old horse track grandstands are gone too and it's been revived as a casino. They still have horse racing.

Here's the old dirt track in its later years....after the thrill is gone.
