When I was in my 20s I had a Westmark 702 knife. I always carried that knife. At some point the knife came up missing. I always suspected that it was stolen out of my car.
Westmark was the top of the line knife for Western Cutlery. They were made in Colorado. They aren't made anymore and they are pretty rare around these parts.

I've been looking for one for some time but the ones I found online were always pretty well used up and the sheaths were often tore up. I recently found one in perfect condition, new in box! So I bought it (not yet delivered.)
I have no intention of using or carrying it, I just wanted it because mine was stolen.
My son was over here yesterday and since he's a gun/knife enthusiast, I told him about the knife and showed him a picture from the ad.
He said, "Oh, mom has one of those...
Now I know where my knife went 30 years ago
Pics to follow when the knife arrives.
