Just like last week, not a lot of candidates to chose from this week. I'm going with JGR as a whole where two different crews let their cars fall off the jack and costing them lots of time in the pits.

Kevin Harvick for his message to the haters. Thin skin much, Kevin? He would have made a bigger statement by acting like he'd been there before and it wasn't a big deal. Instead he made it a big deal.

I recall Hamlin's jack issues were because he put the car too close to the wall. I'm giving the #11 crew a pass on that one. Denny's decided he's tired of limiting his pit road adventures to just speeding and is looking to expand his repertoire.

How does someone reach the Cup level and still have so many problems executing the driver's role in a pit stop?

After Ryan Newman had to pit I switched off as I figured the race was over so IDK what Harvick did or said and I am perfectly fine not knowing. Based on that my award goes to the very un-spiffy performance of Team Penske as they looked like they had prepared cars for a different track. Honorable mention goes to the entire 48 team as they have looked awful all year long.
Don't forget "adversity".
But that's only when we're at one of Truex's 17 home tracks.
Oh yeah. Truex had to walk 5 miles to school in blinding snow storms going uphill both ways.

My bonehead award for Phoenix: Kevin Harvick's haters...... He sees you.

I doubt that. I doubt he cares much at all. If he does, then he deserves the Bonehead for completely lacking a life.
I wonder if he'll do his radio show this week. When the pressure was on he didn't do it.

Thank you for helping me choose my "bonehead of the week". ;)
Shoutout to DH for, once again, finding pit road to be a very grueling and arduous place.

Harvick getting all butt-hurt as usual. His hate is well deserved spending an entire career trying to be the intimidator and bully. Now, he cares what fans think? Go cry somewhere else wuss.

I'm laughing at the people who like the comments.

Kyle Busch fans! I'm not surprised, the saltiness is real when your favorite driver comes in second. Yeah, Kevin's a bully, but with all of the BS he endured with RCR and leaving for greener pastures at SHR. He's been nothing short of phenomenal.

Yeah ..... my favorite driver put up a great fight with a not so good car ...... I am quite proud of him

Second best car in the field behind SHR.

It was just Harvick's best track, nothing to ashamed of. At the same time, if Kyle had a similar comment, you would be praising Kyle.

Darrell Waltrip for his dumbass comments. Please retire.
This one is almost a given every week, kind of like Jr winning the Most Populat Driver.

(And I’m keenly aware of the irony in someone with a Bill Elliott avatar pic saying that...)

Thanks for posting this, now I understand why they went from Championship team in a single Dodge to Ford also ran team lately. Is it my imagination or does Ford just hate success.

The man is a successful business man with many irons in the fire. I wouldn't be to quick
to label him as anything other than that. Especially in a forum that doesn't boast a lot of successful careers.
P.S. I don't like Harvick.

Actually agree with Harvick. Dudes on a hell of a run and people tend to hate it when one guy wins alot.

The Ford's were pretty much a dumpster fire a couple of years ago and before that, they only had the two Penske's that were competitive in the field. Didn't look good. Close competition is the key for good racing IMO. Now if the Chevys can come on, Nascar is going to have a heck of a season this year.

Ha ha. The race was sold out, but carry on..:flushed:

I never said the race wasn't sold out I said there were empty seats which were clearly visible. It is possible the race sold out and seats went unused or the track got creative. Five minutes before race time tickets were still available. Sorry!
