NASCAR CEO BRIAN FRANCE BUSTED FOR DUI & OXYCODONE

....and the douchebag had to be driving a Lexus. ******** it!!!!!

He may be replaced, and if he is so what? He still gets to be a billionaire with NO responsibilities or pressure. And if you think this ends the Nascar evolution, think again. Not going back to 175 points for the win and decreasing at 5 point increments ever again. He was the mouthpiece of all the changes but I'd be willing to bet all these changes were not just his idea. The hate on this guy is incredible and for what, being a part of Nascar TRYING to improve the competition?

That being said, thank God he hurt nobody including himself and hope he gets what he needs and learned a lesson.

Yeah, it won't erase the past goofy ideas, but it may prevent future goofy ideas.

He needs to get some help to get clean and sober.
Running through the stop sign could have been disastrous -- both for him and if he'd hit anyone.
Am I surprised this happened --- not one little bit.
An intoxicated driver as a CEO is a terrible look for a professional racing series. The PR alone should get him kicked out.

It's lonely at the top, being born into fortune can be a curse. His leaving Nascar would probably be best for both him and Nascar.

I would love to see Nascar be run by someone who actually likes and understands racing. Dare I dream of someone who would go back to a season long championship battle?

The sport can't have a figurehead leader getting busted for plowing through the Hamptons drunk and with illegal meds on him at a sensitive time.
Especially when the sport is racing a damn car.

The guy is done for. The first time around...wasn't as scrutinized already, managed to keep it low-profile for the most part. Now? Gone.

there were rumors ol Brian hasn't been sighted around Nascar for awhile. They started last year. I don't think he could probably keep it together for a couple hours without a bump.

Better than firing his ass....Force him into the Road to Recovery. Make Allmendinger his sponsor. Get him Gatorade at the races, etc.

I’m sure the heads of marketing have told every outlet not to comment until “all the facts” surface.

Yeah, but I think they are blocking callers. That's bull****.

On another note, it’s a damn shame that this story will probably reach national news while Chase Elliott’s popular win won’t.

I agree.....especially on ESPN.

Stunning the tolerance for this kind of sh!t, but when a clean driver says or does something controversial, this board calls for his head. The dude should not have been behind the wheel. Could have killed somebody's brother, sister, mom, dad, kid, etc. No tolerance. His ass is out. His license should be gone forever--yeah, and that goes for anybody who does this. IF he has a problem---Why is it when these assholes get caught, they always have a problem?---he can get help if he wants to--that's not my business.

Alcatraz him

My first thought was "I'm not surprised".

My 2nd thought was "He was partying it up with his main man Chase Elliott after that W!"

My 3rd thought was "If I had to guess when this would have happened, it would have been after the banquet last year".

Kyle Larson liked these two tweets, and it's not like Larson doesn't know how to use Twitter.
