See any good movies lately?

I watched all 9 of the Star Wars 3 trilogies this week. Maybe it's because I'm not an obsessive fan but I don't see the issues people had with the most recent 3, they all seemed very good to me.

Went to a drive-in theater last night because we haven’t been to the movies in awhile. Saw a “horror” movie called The Wretched, my God it was bad.

Watching X-MEN APOCALYPSE - this movie is definitely nowhere near as good as Days of Future Past, First Class, or X2, but this movie is underrated. A collection of great scenes wrapped up in an otherwise underwhelming movie.

Michael Fassbender is a great actor, and Sophie Turner is hot as Hell.

Dark Phoenix, on other hand, is organic crap.

Finally watched Ford vs Ferrari tonight...freakin' awesome. Thought it was well done. Timeless piece on the GT40.

My only hope was for someone to punch that 1 guy at Ford squarely in the face.

Went to a theater for the first time in awhile yesterday and saw “Unhinged”. After seeing this movie, whenever someone pisses me off in traffic I think I’m just gonna let them go from now on.

The Vampire Bat, 1933 B & W, with Fay Wray, whatta hottie!

We've watched Polka King on Netflix which I loved with Jack Black and The Wrong Missy which my wife liked and I Thought was okay. I also saw Basic Instinct for the first time last weekend. I think I'd let 90's Sharon Stone ice pick me if I had 45 min of her time.

Somehow through all these years I had missed watching the GodFather I and II. Watched both this week, excellent movies.
Yeah, those are amazing. If you havent watched those, it makes me think you havent watched Goodfellas?

I'll save you some time, skip The Godfather III

Not as good as the first, but a stunning spectacle to behold nevertheless.
Just saw the latest commercial for WW1984 and came here to see what you
thought about it. Do you recommend watching the first one again before seeing 84?

Watched Bad Trip on Netflix, kind of a Borat ripoff but I laughed pretty much all the way through it.

I saw my first movie in a theater yesterday. It was called Nobody and it was a pretty good action movie.:dual9mm:

U guy's didn't hear this from me but there's an IMSA Roma/Drama out there called The Art of Racing in the Rain

I had mixed feelings about Art of Racing in the Rain movie. Of course the book was MUCH better.

I invested 20 minutes into Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
That’s about as far as I could make it 😴

I have yet to see it. I'm a huge Quentin Tarantino fan but I understand why people don't like his movies. They do take a long time to build up, but the dialogue is usually really good.

Of course, I like longer run times, if the movie is engaging. Lets a story develop more. There's no way The Shawshank Redemption would be the masterpiece it is if it was fit into a 90 minute window. Zack Snyder's Justice League is four hours, FOUR ************* HOURS, and it only feels like there's about three minutes wasted.

Don't know how I just saw this.

Watch the first one for sure, just because it's a really good movie. There's a certain scene in that movie, won't ruin it if you haven't watched, that is iconic.

WW84 is, it's not good, but it's not horrible. It's a visual spectacle with a ton of Razzle Dazzle, most notably Gal Gadot🔥, and several good scenes thrown into an otherwise incoherent storyline.

The DCEU is such a mess. They either need to get Zack Snyder back in there to continue his vision or admit it's a failure and hit the reset button altogether.

I saw Spiral: From the Book of SAW a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed it very much and I thought Chris Rock did a good job of taking the SAW franchise in a new direction.

Watched Rent-A-Pal on a whim and did not regret it. It seems to have very good reviews online too
