Watching DW at Bristol was a treat. I miss Jaws.

That's how I saw DW until I started looking back and saw how good he was before I was a fan.
 
Eh. Two underwhelming replacements. Mind as well just keep what you have at this point and see how the rest of this one and going into next season goes. Reddick could be available going into next season and if I'm Spire, I'd keep oh so that sweet Gainbridge cash on tap.

I think Reddick would be very attractive to Toyota & Legacy providing they can secure an additional charter. Presumably with new teams starting up they will be in need of drivers too. Bubba should be able to secure a ride & I understand that Herbst brings sponsorship so he should be good to go too.

I'd rather run uncharted with 23xi than go to Legacy.

What other rides are going to be available, especially anything better than 23XI? All the Hendrick drivers seem safe, same with JGR. He might could go to Penske if Cendric leaves. Trackhouse and RFK seem to be set now. Anything else is a lateral move or a backward move except for stability in the charter area.

Is an uncharted team even breaking even? And an uncharted 23XI has a fraction of the resources that they have this year, good luck finishing in the top 25.

Key word stability. Legacy is also in a charter war.

I do think that Legacy will pick up support from Toyota & JGR if 2311 goes away.
 
You have to wonder if Gibbs will hang on to Denny after the circus he and Jordan have created over this charter deal, even though he has 2 years left on his deal. Jordan thought Gibbs was going to side with 23XI. And when they didn't, he had some bad things to say about JGR. Under that scenario, I could see Reddick replacing Hamlin at JGR.
 
It sounded like Jordan thought everybody was going to go along with him and that is what they were trying to make happen to me.

Doesn't mean they would be able to pay all of their bills if they took a significant pay cut. Reddick ain't living check to check, but he is far from the wealthiest cup driver. You rarely see him in promotional $hit so it seems most of his paycheck is his contract.

They have all of the support from Toyota that JGR does, and Jimmie has been very clear that he isn't into the affiliation thing. Legacy is just fine....

A 24th and a 26th place team has the same support as a JGR team? Something is terribly wrong if that is true. Sounds like whopper time to me.
