That was the year the Buckeyes won by about 30 points over the team up north and on their ground. The next year Michigan decided they were too scared to play the Buckeyes in Columbus so they called it off. At least we have never stooped that low. We got this in 2025. :D

It’s a college football Saturday.

Fantastic crowd in Dublin for an international edition of Farmageddon.

In six minutes we’ve had a returner muff a punt inside the 10 and a fumble on a toss play, all in sloppy wet conditions. 🧠 College football is officially back.

Some great matchups for week one

#1 Texas vs #3 Ohio State
# 9 LSU vs #4 Clemson
# 6 Notre Dame vs 10 Miami Florida

I’m gonna take Texas with Arch being more experienced than Sayin. But pretty much a complete toss up.

Agree on the other two. I have very low expectations for Beck and his repaired UCL. Clemson DL will eat up Nussmeier and the LSU OL.

I sure hope Cincy playing a “home” game in KC paid off financially for them, because it looks pretty stupid to lose a nail-biter in which the predominantly Nebraska crowd clearly played a factor.

Yea I see a lot of people saying Arch has no experience, which like you pointed out isn't entirely true. He doesn't have a lot of game experience...but still has some. Hes also been with Sark for over 2 years now and has been in many big games, albeit not playing. Sayin is a total wild card.

Agree with your take on Beck.

FCS #10 Tarleton State take down reigning American champs Army in OT for the first FCS over FBS upset of the season.

Arch does not seem comfortable at all. Sayin has looked better but his receivers have had a surprising number of drops so far. Overall, looking so far like both teams would’ve preferred an FCS/G5 tuneup game before this one.

He’s look far more comfortable in the second half albeit the two interceptions. This second one might get turned over.

Kinda contradicting myself with that statement but seems like both things have been true.

Missing the 4th and inches at the goal line is an absolute killer.

Arch threw a couple of great balls down the stretch but still missed a few too many to pull off the comeback. Fortunately Texas has a full month before their next meaningful matchup. He did show some flashes towards the end.
