Here's an idea for this race: add 50 laps, have the entire field start, and make it count for points.

On a better note, I finally got to All Star on NASCAR Fan Rewards. I just realized how fitting that timing is.
The 60 will need a couple of tires. It will be fine.
Why would you start the last segment if you're hundreds of laps down?

Haven't seen a fuel fire like that from a crash in a decade or so I feel like. Crazy how common they used to be in the 2000s.

Like Harvick said, it looks like that rear tire being back like it was may have pulled the fuel filler out which got it everywhere and a minor spark lit it up.

Mike confirms Dover isn't getting the axe like we feared, which is good. Better be back to a points race next year. Considering the negative response to this weekend, I can't see it not being a one off.
This is why the Open and Main Events should be separate.

Damn good battle for the lead that was.
Honestly happy about that. The racing isn’t always great, but I really like the look of the track. If I lived closer, I’d consider it for my Dad and I’s race one year.

It's crazy how much of a different some extra horsepower and less downforce can make even with a flawed racecar design.
