Other than the cheesecloth tires I really liked the race. I was doing everything I could from my chair to get Hocevar the win!

I can’t tell anymore about viewership as the just concluded Southern 500 had less than 2 million viewers. I know Notre Dame was playing so that might have accounted for it. I don’t mean this as a criticism more than I think things are changing in broadcasting & viewership world.
I seem to remember Kenny Schrader finishing top 10 in points for Andy Petree & I think that was before Kenny Wallace in the 55 was a teammate, Don’t believe a word I’ve said though as I’ve had several neurological events since then.
I used to listen courtesy of a tube radio. You would get to know where exactly on the band you’d get have to tune to for your best reception.

Watching NASCAR & the NFL does not pose a problem for me. I DVR everything and once I’ve caught up to real time for my one program I start watching the other one. I know it is very important for many fans to watch sports in real time so my way wouldn’t definitely not work for them.
