9 I liked it a lot as I was able to see more of the racing in the pack than they normally show. Congratulations to all the HMS & Chase Elliott fans & a good interview by Denny too.

Crashing yourself out & dropping to 11th in points will get you a bonehead for sure. Take a bow Bubba.

8.5 It was a really enjoyable race and I was pumped seeing Hocevar drive from last place into the top 5. Congrats to Reddick & all his fans too!

8.5 My favorite race of the year so far as there were comers & goers & some hard racing. Also it was great to see an old guy like Hamlin go out & execute like he was 25!

As far as Ty goes I wouldn’t say the fat lady has sung but she’s warming up.

7 I feel the same way as @charliespencer as the race had too many stoppages for me.

Off to a great start but I’m not ready to crown him as the next Jimmie Johnson yet.

7.5 It was nice seeing cars able to get separation instead of the momentum racing of the past 2 weeks. No big wrecks either which I also liked. Mega congrats to the 45 team.

I though young Ty was going to be the real deal. I was wrong.

I love Hocevar. He’ll win this year.

I’ll go with Bubba for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. To run that well all race & flounder at the end is tough.

2 Far too many wrecks & interruptions for my liking. The good news for me is we have 33.3% of these type of races completed for the year. I’m looking forward to next week.

Is anyone going to watch the USA-Canada gold medal hockey game in the morning? I’m going to have to wait until the afternoon but I’m hoping to see it. Of course I’ll be cheering on the Americans but it will be a tough game.

Daytona removed approx 50,000 seats 10-15 years ago that weren’t selling. I think the removals were done under the auspices of a track reno though. Daytona used to seat around 155k & now it’s a little over 100k.
