The last time I was here there were 95 pages so seeing 97 today was encouraging. I wasn’t crazy about the talk of a a settlement though as we’ve come this far & I want a trial!
I was scrolling through X and saw where Adam Stern reported that the race had a 0.70 rating & 1.29 million viewers. I think a lot of people missed a really good race. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if this track went back to 2 dates.
I read this week that the first playoff race had 1.8 million viewers & the second & third had 1.5 million viewers. Apparently that is down over the first 3 playoff races last year but they didn’t say how much. They don’t count me but I watched every race this year!

It was a fun sports weekend with Texas Tech beating Utah, the Hoosiers clobbering the Illini in Bloomington, the...
I would like to see Heim get a full time cup ride with a decent organization. It seems like the logical step would be to get him into a 3rd legacy car. In theory 2311 could be out of business sometime next year that could really change things if it did happen.
Gibbs, Herbst & to some extent Jones are not getting the most out of what they’ve been given. IDK if this is any concern to Toyota or if they relinquish all that sort of things to the teams.

Other than the cheesecloth tires I really liked the race. I was doing everything I could from my chair to get Hocevar the win!
The Aggies coming into South Bend & beating the Irish = a gazillion gazzillion!!!
I can’t tell anymore about viewership as the just concluded Southern 500 had less than 2 million viewers. I know Notre Dame was playing so that might have accounted for it. I don’t mean this as a criticism more than I think things are changing in broadcasting & viewership world.
