2 Far too many wrecks & interruptions for my liking. The good news for me is we have 33.3% of these type of races completed for the year. I’m looking forward to next week.

Is anyone going to watch the USA-Canada gold medal hockey game in the morning? I’m going to have to wait until the afternoon but I’m hoping to see it. Of course I’ll be cheering on the Americans but it will be a tough game.

Daytona removed approx 50,000 seats 10-15 years ago that weren’t selling. I think the removals were done under the auspices of a track reno though. Daytona used to seat around 155k & now it’s a little over 100k.

On X Austin Konenski (sp) posted that the 500 had a hair over 5 million viewers. Apparently Nielsen has not announced its ratings yet so Austin jumped the gun & apologized.

I still watch the 6 plate races even though they are not my favorites. The racing is normally in packs, there are normally big wrecks & if you see the last 20 laps you’ve seen all you need. I do my best not to trash them as I know a lot of people like this type of racing and more power to them...

2 I feel the same way as @Charlie Spencer did. I’ve never cared for momentum racing but evidently the vast majority like it a lot.

I am so proud of the Hoosiers & Coach Cignetti & their marvelous season. It wasn’t a cakewalk last night but the kids got it done!

I wouldn’t mind seeing a destructors championship for the team that wrecks the most of its cars. You could have a really cool trophy!

I had a little bump in the road but I still have all my hair & my beard is doing pretty well too! I appreciate coming here and reading all the stories & opinions. I have a lot of strange things going on with my thinking & remembering but I have so much to be thankful for. I appreciate you guys!

I’ll just say that I’ve been really disappointed in Jim. I naively thought he would put some things right. Boy was I wrong!

Thank you very much. I got unexpected great news from my neurologist today. They are going to try & treat this thing with medication first instead of doing surgery! I like this idea better than drilling into my head first. They are trying new medication to help with my headaches so it’s all good!

I didn’t stop to think what Denny was doing actually. I was just super happy that Hoosiers were able to win a huge game!
