You're right. I thought they had already brought back 750 for smaller tracks a year ago and are now extending it to all tracks.
Turned out to be wishful thinking.
In June it'll be 10 years since this guy (Luis Salom) passed. That was a freak accident.
Not sure if this is the LMP2 that almost won Le Mans in 2017. The 24 hour race was great in the mid-2010s. 2016 and 17 were particularly crazy.
This is how the first season with this system played out. They sure gotta be happy about the change they made now that even NASCAR realized they were wrong.
End of a mistake.
Yes there's still a reset and 16 drivers in Cup is a little too many.
Still, the upsides far outweigh the negative aspects. This is making me look forward to the new season like I haven't in years.
I'm genuinely excited for the season to start, bring it on!
