This should be the most no brainer decision NASCAR has ever made. Fans have been screaming to go back to 36 race format since this elimination format first came out and Ryan Newman almost won the championship.

If we get anything but a 10 race chase or a full 36 race format, I seriously might take a detox year away from NASCAR. I bet I’m not the only one that would do that, either.

If I were Edwards that one would haunt me more than 2016, but he seems stuck on 2016.

I’ve had that same feeling since after Logano won in 2022. Watching playoff races feels like a chore. At least in the regular season the race is more the show.

Big Hendrick guy, Denny deserved to win that. This feels empty. Nothing like I felt in 2020 or 2021. This system should be killed with fire.
