Excellent drive by Kirkwood, it’s always great when someone takes it to Palou 1-on-1 and wins. Those Andretti cars were rapid this weekend. Pretty cool track and it was a much cleaner race than anyone anticipated. I’d call that one a success.

I don’t think there’s any reason he can’t be successful because his old F2 compatriots like Lundgaard and Armstrong have adapted well. There’s certainly a learning curve though, it takes more like two or three years to really get up to speed. Hopefully he’s committed long-term.

Andretti INDYCAR and Ferrari F1 have a lot in common. Andretti cars always have such quick street course pace, but operationally they’re just not good enough to beat the Penske and Ganassi bunches with regularity. Two very costly pit stops for Ericsson and Kirkwood.
