The entire point of this is to sell. NBC transferred NASCAR rights to Versant because NBC no longer has any use for NASCAR. They have NBA and MLB back.

Versant is also up for sale. NBC has no involvement with Versant. MS NOW and CNBC completely separate from NBC. USA Sports is separate from NBC Sports. So much so that NBC brought NBCSN back for cable sports coverage.
