I know you dont watch much, but Shawn Cowie straight-up hung the field to dry in the final. The first 3 staged right away; He took forever to get the RPM's up and I think he used 9.98 seconds to get the bottom light on. Screwed up the whole quad on the tree and he got the win.

Actually, what Ron hit WAS a SAFER barrier. We just did not know it from the public side until Patrick Grant posted these photos. FOX did very well to not show any of it on TV or the NHRA.TV live stream. They showed the helicoper shot ONCE and never again, and it's not on any recorded stream...
