Cope said on the JR podcast that he made some serious $$ when StarCom sold it's Charter a few years ago. I imagine he's using some of that $$ to start this team. Still, they will need sponsorship, Hopefully the equipment they get from RCR is good stuff and not antiquated.

Mike Wallace was a very solid Busch/Nationwide/Xfinity driver but yes he's a bit too long in the tooth to be doing this.

that is weird. Heim is ready for Xfinity. I don't think it would have been wise to have him go straight to Cup though. But, I do think he's more talented than Herbst, although Herbst has improved the last few years.

Daniel Hemric gets the 19 NAPA ride in the Truck Series. Basically Kaulig swapped drivers with them. He should be very competitive in that ride.

Smith was kind of immature acting when he went Xfinity full time. I remember when he was lamblasting Jeb Burton for a racing incident and he got needlessly personal with some low ball insults. But his performance from ARCA thru Trucks and now Xfinity has been top notch. I would hate to see him...

Hes a great driver but that move he pulled at homestead was boneheaded. he could have been a bit patient and either won or finished second. Aggression is great but you gotta pick the moment.
