Didn’t Rockingham and North Wilkesboro get millions of tax dollars?

Southern California is a hub of car culture and there are multiple racing events that do well there, the Long Beach Grand Prix and the Pomona drag racing are good examples. Maybe NASCAR needs to look at its marketing. There’s very clearly a market there.

It looks like a unique track that should produce some interesting racing. I am interested in the strategy aspect of setting up a car here. Turns 1-2 are sweeping oval turns while the rest of the course would behave like a road course.

Busch is kind of stuck now. With the 3 charter limit, I don’t see a top tier seat opening up for him any more soon.

I agree The car needs to be hard to drive. There’s a reason why Darlington was so fun to watch. Driving a stock car shouldn’t be a cake walk.

Buying ARCA was NASCAR’s mistake here. ARCA WAS a separate series where you could sell old Cup cars and equipment. ARCA’s existence was a good defense to an antitrust claim.
