I like the unpredictability of it. But it shouldn't be used if the expectation is that it is going to be good racing at that particular track. I think it was worth a shot Sunday.

This was the first race I've watched in a long time due to dropping DISH to save money. So I watched it via a stream, so no fast forwarding. I like the Diffy guy. 6

This is so bizarre. I barely bothered to set my field last week...I think I remembered with enough time to swap my drivers. And I managed to win. This week I completely forgot to do anything, and luckily Truex won again, and so did I. I'm not going to push my luck forgetting it another week.

If the old system remained in place, with just a tweak to the scoring so that wins became a lot more important, like everyone else said, the core fan would have remained and the increased importance of winning would have possibly counteracted some of the COT's problem.

I'm not sure that even with the right marketing and great racing, that these places would ever draw a huge crowd, or even one as large as they did in the 90s. It would take a big change in the economy of the areas the tracks are in. But it just seems to me that these small tracks should make for...

Lake Speed and Phil Parsons both won a single race in the 80's. I'd still go with Menard though.
