IHRA also bought Maple Grove, Memphis, and Heartland Park Topeka. I found this video of an IHRA race on 1988 at Darlington when Billy Myer became president of IHRA.

They also just purchased the Memphis TN dragstrip, and the Heartland Park race facility in Topeka KS.

So sad. They were just at the PRI show in Indy last week having a great time.

I like that IHRA has committed 100% all in on trying to up their series that will give the lesser funded teams a good place to race, but I hope they are not biting off more than they can chew. I do think it will force NHRA to up their game also which should be better for the racers that race...

I was watching some old videos, and I ran a cross a couple that showed the crashes that Big Jims son Mike Dunn had in Roland Leong's Hawaiian Punch FC. Thank God he walked away without a scratch.
