    Xfinity Series 2025

Anyone else here think it's kind of silly that the Xfinity Series is just on CW? Cup is a mix of everything, but starting with FOX and FS1. Trucks are on FOX and FS1 the entire year. I find it hard to believe FOX and FS1 wouldn't have also done the Xfinity Series for the entire year as well...

    Cup RACE thread --- Atlanta

Wouldn't it be Jeff having that conversation? Hasn't Jeff essentially taken over the racing operations part of Hendrick Motorsports? I don't get the sense that Mr. H is that directly involved anymore.

    Cup RACE thread --- Atlanta

I don't care. NASCAR is still in the wrong. Unless racing back to the line poses a direct safety threat, such as the wreck being on the front-stretch or turns 1 or 2, race back to the line for the finish. NASCAR should be doing everything possible to ensure a race to the line for the finish.

Johali's Rate the Cup race --- Atlanta

The parts of the race I did watch, 9. Good quality for a change. The finish, 0. Once again NASCAR throws a caution that isn't necessary, just like the second Duel at Daytona last week. There was no safety threat, the leaders could've been allowed to race to the finish and then immediately told...

    Cup RACE thread --- Atlanta

Once again, NASCAR screws up another good finish with a non-needed caution. Might as well just assume all these "drafting track" races will always finish under caution and never get to the line. No need for that, no danger to let the leaders go to the line. Such a joke. Twice now just this year.

    The Duels at Daytona

Those people in the booth make more in a year than a lot of us will make in 20. Your Mike Joy, Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, Dale Jr., Jeff Burton types, they have more money than they'll ever spend. They're not at risk. I mean can you imagine if NASCAR forced FOX to fire Kevin Harvick or Clint...

    The Duels at Daytona

By throwing the caution you didn't slow the field down and you didn't cause one car that would've been hit not to have been hit. I liked Harvick when he was at Stewart-Haas. Still like Harvick but he's wrong on this one. Not surprised though. People complain about the NFL, but it's obvious...

    The Duels at Daytona

And by being obsessed with "Game 7" moments, you take away anything special about it. The special part of "Game 7" moments is they don't happen every year. The last time the NBA Finals had a Game 7 was 2016. Since then they've had NBA Finals that were a 4 - 0 sweep and fairly dominant 4 - 1...

    The Duels at Daytona

And this is why I really don't follow NASCAR regularly anymore. This is why NASCAR is not a serious organization. If it happened on the backstretch or turn 3, sure, throw the caution. But once they get off turn 4, if there's a wreck, let them race to the checkered flag. So pathetic. And don't...

    The Duels at Daytona

Again so dumb. The wreck is behind the leaders. There's no risk of letting the leaders race to the checkered flag. So stupid.

    The Duels at Daytona

Not with this product. Even now, with the race on the line, they should be pushing 200 - 205 mph and they're barely getting to 185 - 192 mph. Makes me glad I didn't pay the $200 to make the hour trip over on Sunday. At least Formula 1 is starting soon as well, read speed and performance there.

    The Duels at Daytona

This is just downright pitiful. The cars looks like they are barely moving. You can see the cars visibly being slower. NASCAR is the only body that I think tries their best to make their product worse. Heck 10 years ago the Duels would've been over 20 minutes ago. We're barely halfway through...

NASCAR sucks now. Support your local tracks.

Here's how I would do the 2025 NASCAR Schedule: Sunday, January 19th - NASCAR Clash at Bowman Gray Sunday, January 26th - Las Vegas Sunday, February 2nd - Phoenix Sunday, February 16th - Daytona 500 Sunday, February 23rd - Homestead-Miami Sunday, March 2nd - Circuit of the Americas Sunday...

Say what you want but it hurts NASCAR. Many people who might be casual NASCAR fans tune out when the NFL starts. I can tell you right now, if NASCAR and my NFL team are on at the same time, my NFL team absolutely takes priority. And that's true for many casual NASCAR fans. The PGA Tour was...

NASCAR sucks now. Support your local tracks.

Obviously as you can tell by my name, I was a big Tony Stewart fan. Once Smoke retired, I started losing interest but still kept some interest due to Stewart-Haas Racing and Kevin Harvick. My fandom for Harvick was not at the level that I had for Smoke, but I still wanted him to win races and do...
