Hey there everyone,

I've lurked on here for awhile and decided you all seem to know what you're talking about,
for the most part. :D

I just had a question I thought would would make a good discussion.

Did anyone else notice how loose everyone was yesterday at BristoI? I suppose it was due mostly in part to the constant changing of the racing surface as many drivers noted. However, what I find interesting is how cloudy and cool it was. Usually that equals great handling but today it seemed the weather, minus the five or so thorough washes of the track rubber, didn't affect the racing as much as it would have.

Hi! I wholeheartedly endorse lurking to get the lay of the land.

DW may have had a point when he talked about starting on low tire pressures (much as it pains me to admit it).

I thought yesterdays race showed that driver skill can overcome track changes. There was a mix of drivers running up front, not just the usual front runners.

I highly enjoyed the race yesterday as Bristol is my favorite track as well. These drivers amaze me sometimes with how they can handle things and track changes and conditions.
