Occasionally I look at the national map (below). I live in the Commonwealth of PA. We have the highest gasoline taxes of the 50 states. Nobody else even comes close. Damn @dpkimmel2001 $0.78 total taxes per gallon. Holy cow. I thought we were really high at $0.55 a gallon.
Up to $2.36 a gallon here.
$2.19 to $2.24 here in Central Texas.
We are over $0.72 per gallon tax with the new approved increase.

Just a race fan
Bought gas in Tifton Ga. yesterday for 1.98 cash 2.01 credit at Murphys, Race Track was the same. 15 miles east of there in Ty Ty Ga. gas was 1.34. Looked like a gas war in Tifton.
2.05 when I filled up on Wednesday.

We just returned from our first race/vacation trip for this summer with more to come. I kept tabs on the gas prices in every state that we fueled up in. The total was $1,177.18. The list is in order from when we left until we returned and only where we bought gas. Some were next to interstate highway's and some in neighborhoods. We found that the states we passed through twice, on the east side and the west side, the prices were almost identical so I only listed them once..
