Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington Found Dead of Apparent Suicide

I also didn't like LP at all... not that it makes a difference.


It's Chris Cornell's bday today and they were very close apparently. Also went out the same way. **** the mind can be a scary place. RIP. Feel for his family and band mates.
 
I can't believe it, man. :(

I don't listen to Linkin Park anymore, but they were one of the first bands I got into when I started listening to music back in high school. I loved their first album, Hybrid Theory. I even liked some of the rock/rap stuff they did after that, but as I got older, my musical tastes changed and I moved on.

It's so sad. That guy (should have) had just about anything anyone could ever want in life. Just shows that you have no idea what's going on beneath the surface.

I'm in complete shocked! Linkin Park has always been one of my favorites, even with their change of sound. His voice so relaxing to hear. I remember they did a performance not long after Cornell's death and they changed their opening song and announced it was in honor of Cornell. Suicide sucks!
 
Was supposed to see them at Mohegan August 5, sad, all that talent wasted. Six kids too, feel for the family!
 
LP wasn't a band that I ever really got into much as I was always more into the shredder metal than the nu stuff. Really hated to hear this though, so close to Cornell and going the same way. Very rough for his family and his fans. LP had just released a new video earlier in the day before the sad news broke.

This band was among the first I listened to when I turned to the evil side. System of a Down cemented my descend to madness.

RIP, man.
 
I've watched many of these tributes and this one is just heart breaking! How this young lady managed to perform this is beyond me. I hope she has a good support system, because she's gotta be crushed. From the sound of it, Chester was like a second dad to her.
