Anyone know what happened to Keselowski's car during the second part of qualifying? I was on the side of he track and wasn't able to hear any commentary. It looked like he was able to get only one (possibly two) good laps in.

He messed up his run, came back in and cooled his car off and went out again
 
How is Kyle .7 tenths faster than 3rd place truex wow. Ridiculous
 
I think 18 wins again today.

Although 48 was fast at Sonoma, as was the 78. Maybe Suarez will sneak in there

I heard somebody suggest that Junior is becoming a road course ringer during one of the recent Iowa X races... :laugh:

Eh, the stage racing has not entirely messed it up for me, although I am 100% sure it has messed with the outcome of quite a few races this year. I mean, honestly, would we be able to say that Austin Dillon has a Cup victory if we were under the normal racing format? How 'bout Ricky? Or Ryan?
Js, Ryan is the only one that could win either way, imo. ;)

I agree with you, tremendously. I feel like Brett is seriously under-rated. Hopefully he will find a true team to call home like Alex Bowman has. You just do not know how happy I was when he won a truck race last year. :)
Oh, and you don't get a top ten in your first Cup start with MWR for nothing. :D

Right, exactly. :biggrin: It just feels like somebody's got their hands in the results under this format, if you know what I mean. And your poor Kyle... has probably bore the brunt of the crap that has come from this stage racing. -_- I mean, even Truex, who was once the king of unluckiest drivers, now seems to be considered as being in the same category of drivers as JJ, Harvick, Keselowski, etc. because of how things have played out this year. :eek:

Gross manipulation of the races and the racing surface will undoubtedly produce some strange results ........ and it has. Kyle will be fine .... he is a winner

Certainly has. :laugh: Yeah, after he won Pocono, you know what I was thinking? He will probably have three or four Cup wins by the end of the season. I truly think it is down to Truex v Busch. :D The reason why? Uh, Larson and Co. has been kinda M.I.A the last few races. :unsure: Granted, Larson has had his issues, like at Pocono... curious to see how he does at The Glen.

I became a fan of him during his tenure in cup, but he really impressed me in the truck series. I hate to see the fate of red horse racing.

:biggrin: That would be awesome. Truex, KyBu, Harvick, and Kes (he'd be the wildcard who gets in, I guess), I can imagine all 4 racing for the championship. Of course, I want Truex to get a Cup championship, but if that does not happen, I would like for Kyle to shut up the haters and get a first full-time Cup title. ;)

Gonna say a Toyota gets it done today. If not, then I say JJ does. Just because I want to see him get the goose egg off of his WG record. :D

Yes, I was surprised it happened. The team had two high-calibre drivers, obviously Timothy Peters being the other one, and now both of them are left without a ride. I know you just pointed out that Moffitt is racing for BK, but he might as well not have a ride. :p

I don't believe that anyone has it in the bag today ...... but there are the usual suspects that will most likely shine. Hell .......... with all the manipulating going on it could be Danica

Haven't missed a Cup race yet. I've missed one X and two Trucks. Also missed 1 IndyCar. I perfect on IMSA, the only other series I regularly follow.

:eek: You watch more than I do! I have not kept with X, Trucks, and IndyCar as much. Who's your favorite in IndyCar? IMSA is nice. ;) I keep up with F1 and MotoGP. :cool:

Yeah, but those are the ONLY sports I follow regularly. I can identify most of the top 15 pro golfers, and that's about it. I only caught four regular-season football games last year.

IndyCar? I like Hinch, Helio, and I've liked TK since he won Indy and said "Now they have to put my ugly face on that trophy!".

Third straight sell-out. They had a good crowd yesterday for the X race; it looked like more than the Indy Cup race drew. There's a lot to be said for the appearance of full grandstands, even if you have to reduce the number of seats to get it.
 
Have not missed a raced, ive even watch every single practice session, qualifying , all but the last two, I like to sleep in on Sunday yo.

Same here. I don't watch a lot of Football. I can tell you that the Pats won the Super Bowl and that TB now has 5 rings... that's all I've got. :D I certainly don't watch golf... prefer to play it sometimes.

Nice! Helio has a shot at the title this year. Your boy TK has my respect, too, especially after he called out Lewis Hamilton for his bad comments about IndyCar. ;) Did you see that?
 
KB definitely has the fastest car. His cars seem as good as Martin's lately. KB is a better driver though.

Switch Indy for Japan Super Gt Series add in the DTM Series, Blancpain series , and the Xfinity Series and most of the Truck races.

Interesting list you got there. I haven't seen DTM this year, but I can tell that it has been a thriller, almost all of the drivers have scored points, and there are quite a few winners. Never have seen the Super GT series. Blancpain is pretty nice.

The only Truck race I actually watched was Eldora. :)

Oh, and while the foreign series are being mentioned here, another one I try to keep up with regularly is the BTCC.
