Don't worry. Kyle won't get the triple. The field tomorrow isn't comprised of teenagers driving go-karts.

Might actually have to compete for a change.

He got it in 2010 ........... the cup field wasn't comprised of teenagers in go-karts then either !!! but you are probably right ...... doing it twice is highly unlikely. nobody else will ever do it once

They want these lower series to stand on their own but when Kyle wins the play it as the series are just teenagers that don't know anything. If that's the case their lucky that Kyle is there to teach them.

Its got to be quite an honor to race on the same track with the best in the business

And it's not even a discussion. I fail to see how 100 Xfinity wins and 1 Cup title (missed half the season) > 8 Cups and 90-100 Cup wins.
the 7 cups of jj are all chase productions and only represent a third of a season. even kyles cup reward for his broke leg was a joke.

They say opionions can not be wrong, but then there is this opinion that blows that out of the water

So, let me get this right, you are discounting all 7 of Jimmie Johnsons Championships that came in the Chase era for Kyle's one broken leg Championship that came in the Chase era?, am I understanding that correct?

chase makes all chumpionchips less meaning full.

Jimmie Johnson is a straight up legend of the sport. He's up there with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt in that respect. Kyle is still young in his career and has accomplished alot. Who knows what the guy will do once he stops running Xfinity after 100. He'll have the most wins in the truck series pretty soon as well but with Brad pulling out I'm not so sure Kyle isn't far behind although KBM performs way better than BKR. Kyle should get up there with Pettys, Earnhardt, and Jonhson as his career progresses.

Johnson ran 93 xfinity races ...................... he managed to win ONE out of 93

Kyle Busch understands the Xfinity car better than any other driver. He's also pretty understanding of a Cup car and truck. Jimmie and Chad have figured out the Cup car though and continue to win regardless of the rules. I'm a strong believer of a driver feeling the car, Smoke said he just didn't understand the car in his last years and I believe that is also what is JR's problem. They were both great before this generation of car was introduced and just don't click well with the car. Kyle's Xfinity record is expressive but Jimmie has almost as many wins in Cup so he deserves his credit.

This race earns a solid 2.

I'm surprised that NASCAR can get more than 300 paying fans to sit in the stands and watch another crapfest. There's more intensity and competitive passing in rush hour freeway traffic...

I sincerely hope tomorrow is a better race, having friends over and pizzas delivered, these friends are casual fans but never seen a Bristol race hope it doesn't let em down

I used to think like this until I had the lightbulb come on...they all played by the same rules. I might hate the Chase/playoffs but can't discount what the 48 bunch have done, they beat everyone fair and square in what the rules stated

Uggh...JJ could not light a candle to Sr..sorry

Love him, hate him or somewhere in between, Kyle Busch sure does get a lot of attention.

I always thought the Winston Cup was a better looking trophy in all its 80's and 90's full glory, I want a replica Winston Cup. Also I always think when I see this picture, did he bring his six trophies with him in hopes that he will have a photo op with his 7th?

Kyle is 32 and may be passed his prime in the Cup series. I see a few more years for him at JGR, then he might run his own team in the Busch series to eventually pick up that 100th win...if he doesn't self implode first.
I acknowledge he is a true wheelman, just not the kind I like when it comes to his character at the race track. I believe, once he hangs it up from racing he will become more mature and a more likable personality.

It's one thing I actually think is better about today.....I like the trophy more. The old winston cup always looked kinda dull to me.
I would assume that yes they brought the other with them. There's similar pics of him with 5 and 6 trophies on the track so I guess they do it any year they go to homestead with a shot.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.‏Verified account @DaleJr

Last two days I lost a ton of fluids. Figured since it was free and the infield care center folks are so kind to offer, why not get 2 bags.

.@DaleJr has been released from the care center after receiving fluids following tonight's race.

AND then he still...upon exiting the track, stopped to sign for all of the fans lined up waiting.

32 I don't think is old in racing, I think he's in his prime now, but what do I know Jeff Gordon couldn't win a cup after age 30.

Crazy, imagine that photo op if he wins ten. I'm no JJ fan but I might have to get that poster if it happens and hang it in my garage. 10 trophies is serious bling

8 trophies after Homestead this year is serious, as you say, "Bling".

That's all he needed to win to show that he belongs in the major leagues instead of the minors like you know who.

Took him 93 tries I guess !! I saw him in a Nationwide car at Phoenix .......... looked like a back marker

Kybu, 449 cup races= 39 wins and 1 cucumbered cup championship.
Jimmie Johnson, 566 cup races= 83 wins and 7 noncucumbered cup championships.
It looks like kybu has 117 cup races (3.25 seasons) to get 44 cup wins and 7 noncucumbered Cup championships to catch up. Good luck with that. :p

You gotta admit, winning 7 races in the same year you were hospitalized with major broken bones is quite a feat.

Your trying to make it sound like KB is a smarter owner than Brad is. The way you go on and on about Toyota some where there must be a hint of understanding that Toyota teams do well because they have Toyota backing at all stages of putting a car or truck on the track.
That's why Kyle shuttered his Xfinity team, he couldn't afford to race against Toyota and JGR.
Brad gets some money from Ford and Team Penske but nothing like what Kyle gets. Brad was operating at a loss and Ford refused to pony up with more. That is why it took so long for Brad to sign his contract, the result is ,"No more Money" cut the expenses and shut it down.

Sounds like Brad should have been smart like Kyle and went with Toyota
