2 garaged SuperBirds--found

Holy cow. I would need a grinectomy if I had one of those.

What would you pay for them? I wonder what the reserve is?

a lot of times it is to get them out there, get publicity. Nobody want's to pay EBay fees on something like that.

My 2¢ The seller has visions of sugar plums dancing in his head. He's got that 500k number in his head. He'll dismiss the buyer having to spend 100k+ each to bring them up to the 500k figure. He's going to want that 500k and they won't sell for anywhere near 500k in the condition they're in.

Just sit on them for another decade. They aren’t making these things anymore. The “buy it now” price on my Mustang goes up every year.

Dad had a '62, I remember billboards from that era with a local dealer adverting them for $1,200 iirc.

I had a used 63 with the accordion style sunroof. What a fun car that was. I had a 64 window van for a while and a 72 Karman Ghia that I liked a lot. My dad bought a 60 model VW window van brand new. I think it wasone of the first van's in town when he bought it, he was getting stopped by people wherever he went for awhile.

My dad sang with the Houston Grand Opera for years. After performances, to beat the traffic away from the concert hall, he would frequently
drive that Beetle down the sidewalk.
My grandfather had horses on his farm. One horse could not stand to see that car. He left big dents in the driver's door to show his hatred.

2 bucks=8 gallons, take you cruising all through the weekend.:)
