Name something you LIKE about today’s NASCAR racing

Short tracks, road courses, Xfinity regulars winning Xfinity races, Truck Series racing, and even some of the 1.5-mile tracks on the schedule. *cough* Kansas *cough*

Throwback weekend is awesome!
Drivers charities and the outreach into the communities from the people, race teams, and other entities involved with NASCAR is great too.
The access to the teams and garages during the race on TV is cool.

The best though is that DW is retiring, I like that ALOT :)

I look forward to seeing the throwback paint schemes every year.

I never cared for DW's opening boogity boogity line, but he was comforting to me and a one of a kind character. I liked his presence in the booth.

Eh most of the youngsters haven't been around for DW's almost twenty years behind the mike, much less the 20 years before that when he drove during Nascar's heyday. So they don't appreciate the lifetime body of work DW has committed to Stock car racing and his stories from before back in the day when Nascar was starting out in the 50' and 60's. We're losing yet another link to the past and somebody who helped build the foundations of Nascar stock car racing.

I know they do this because they want the commercial time so why not send them into the pits and play your 3-5 min. of commercials?

Totally agree
If I’m right at Iowa the race restarted 10 laps after a stage stop

great topic

I like the danger. even in this world of safer everything, racing is and always wil be dangerous. Seeing our heroes battle at high speeds, throwing around heavy cars. Also enjoy the road racing.

DW was like an old worn out pair jeans. comfortable but not always appropriate in all situations.
