Adam Alexander/Jamie Mac/Bowyer Booth

I thought it was good - definitely had good/fun energy.

But I also think they were clearly missing a crew-chief, competition/rules management specialist. Several issues came up that neither Bowyer nor Jamie had an answer for, and you had AA (the 'play-by-play' media guy), at times, knowing more about the rules than the two drivers. I'm not knocking AA's knowledge, he's been around, but he's never managed a car in a race. Bowyer at one point said "Where's Larry Mac? We need Larry Mac."

no, too much useless yikyak,
just have one person call the race,
i dont need any explaining or trips down memory lane.

I enjoyed the group but felt they could turn it down a notch. I did prefer them to either network's Cup team, esp. Adam.

Bowyer with any combo works for me. Buddy Baker is smiling.
That was an awesome story from Buddy Baker. Working at Jim Dunn Racing and sitting at the race shop or in the lounge in the trailer at the track listening to stories just like that from a drag racing legend and HOF driver "Big Jim Dunn" for the past 5 years is one of the things I have missed the most since I retired.

I think a booth of Adam Alexander, Chad Knaus ( hate to retire a guy when hes still going strong) and Clint would own. I think this should be the Fox crew after Mike Joy hangs it up and Jeff goes off to run HMS. In all seriousness, I had fun watching last night's race because the fun Clint seemed to be having radiated through the TV screen, hes found his second career.

Really though, is there anyone who fully understands the rules?

Replace Jamie Mac with Larry Mac and you got it made

Better yet, replace Jamie Mac with Jamie Little . . . .

Half the time the people that are there to enforce the rules don't even know the rules. The DOT is a good example. Some race car haulers have the generator and air tank mounted in a big stainless box mounted on the front of the trailer, but some of the teams have a 30 thousand dollar custom built generator box mounted on the back of the truck like the one in my avatar. A couple of years ago I was about 50 miles from the Houston track when a DOT officer pulled me over and was going to write me an over length ticket because he said once you put anything in the box it would be considered part of the trailer and that made me over length. I told him there is a motorsports exemption rule that allows us to have that box as long as all we carry in it is things for the trailer and racing supplies as long as nothing is for resale. He took pictures and text them to his superior and I had to wait for about a half hour before he got the word back that I was right and to send me on my way. There has been numerous times over the years that I would have gotten tickets if I had not know the rules, because the officer didn't...or he did and he was hoping I didn't.:)

Clint is entertaining but I listen to the announcers for information.
The race is my entertainment so show me the race not the clowns.
