I always look forward to IndyCar's Texas race, it's a great race to get the season underway.
IndyCar found a good way to prevent pack racing, make the cars so damn fast on the straightaway that they have to lift going into turn 1.
300 miles is too short though. The race is going to be over in less than two hours.

I certainly hope it’s a clean one, I know there’s some concern that, not having raced competitively in almost nine months and some of these guys having no or barely any oval experience, things could be even more on edge than usual. Obviously you usually have over 1000 miles of total running time at IMS just a few weeks before.

I think the race was shortened in large part because of the 35-lap stint maximum; they’d have to make at one more stop if the race were kept at 248 laps and they’re already pretty thin on available Firestones.

ECR already working on repairs to make it to qualifying. VK cleared and released from the medical center.

It sounds like this is going to be a mess or a single-file bore. There’s no grip in the outside where the PJ1 was applied before the postponed Cup race, then scrubbed from the track last week.

This was the one I confused Supercars with the other day. Jesus my mind is gone.

I thought I was reading the same tweet over and over about green flags been out after x incident. Holy ****. lol

Sato might not make it, ouch.

Rossi is also having issues. So is Hunter Rey. wtf..

1st race probably a whole passel of boneheads before this is over. I have low expectations of this bunch

They get that traction compound worked in, it could be a barn burner after the herd gets culled down
