The NASCAR Cup Series wraps up the second round of its championship playoff format with a road course elimination race as Charlotte Motor Speedway hosts the Bank of America ROVAL 400.

The game's most popular driver pick was, not surprisingly, Chase Elliott, selected by seven players.

Alex Bowman, in a must-win race for him, was selected by five players while Corey LaJoie and Joey Hand, in his first ever Cup race, were each selected by three.
Good luck to all and thanks for participating.

I should be down to 5th place by the end of today. But I feel good about the final 5 races with what I'll have left. Im hoping some of the SHR prepared RWR machine driven by Hand can just finish the race.

Given the near disasters he was facing throughout the day, I will gladly take a 10th place finish from Bowman. He’s carved out a really good season for himself, returning the 48 to victory lane and competing well.

Congrats to @donthaveanickname for taking the "Highest Finishing Pick" award thanks to the sixth place finish by his pick, Matt DiBenedetto, in the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The "Most Upward Movement" award goes to @2 Sweet who moved up four spots in the standings as a result of the 10th place finish by his pick, Alex Bowman.

Congrats to @Turtle84 as his hold on first place in the standings has reached six consecutive races while his lead over second place has held at 21 points for three consecutive races.

Additional congrats to @Michfan who has been within the top five in the standings for 15 consecutive races and now finds himself in second place, moving past @Snappy D.

Thanks again to @pjmolo for doing this league in a manner that meets all the superlatives.

I started the season hoping to win the championship, then I had to readjust my goals to just finishing with a podium position.
I am still going to do my best but now the goal is to finish in the top five.

It is a great league, game, or contest.
