I honestly thought they’d run a bit better this year, why? I can’t say but I thought I remembered reading interviews in the off-season where their owner said they were going to go for it more this year

If anyone is wondering about my patented Speedbowl14 weather updates- I'm a career ski instructor, so my livelihood is literally dictated by the weather... hence I look at the actual model runs, can interpret a radar, and could forecast an area (if I had to) without a weather app or website.

So take my thoughts with maybe 2 grains of salt instead of one. I think it stays dry and this is our only red due to weather for this race.

Listening to Corey it sounds like they really have no alliance this year. Pit crew and engines from HMS but nothing technical. I don't think they get any sim time either. Sounds like they put too many eggs in the new car is the equalizer basket

This is actually good insight about the heat from Junior. You’re just getting used to the heat in the car, I imagine it’s hard to get back in that mindset again after this delay

Yea I wasn’t sure they had an alliance after Ganassi sold his shop. They were with Chip last year I thought and the year before that ?
 
Lebanon TN sunset is 8:07. We should go green again with out another strike around 6:10. Track conditions will be considerably different. Will that make a big change later, I think so.
 
I can’t wait for Chicagoland to get their date back so we get “Rut’s City View” from Joliet, IL. Downtown J-Town

I believe last year CGR was preparing the cars but I know they weren't getting "A" motors

Its very refreshing night now having NBC back, this is how you do a NASCAR broadcast IMO, this is professional sports broadcasting.
 
Man that graphic is painful the #11 is 21st in driver points but current 4th in the playoff standings
