I hope you’re rightI have a theory the pack won't be as tight. I think the hot summer temperatures will make it slicker.

crossing my fingers for another 22' first time winner....Ryan Blaney come on down!
Tbh this could be a missed opportunity with Kryal B. looking for a new sponsor. The thought of hearing his reaction had it been his crew seems like a hell of a way to market/sell some ear plugs (as a new sponsor). They’re giving the guy on the playoff bubble the worst pit crew in the series? Kyle and Denny are solidly locked in the playoffs, so take the crew from the youngster 20 points above the cut line…
Well one driver is the current "face of NASCAR" and another is just an exceptional young talent. Got to promote what NASCAR wants. They’re giving the guy on the playoff bubble the worst pit crew in the series? Denny should have gotten them. He’s locked in with two wins. Bell is safe for now but, er, Larry’s trends hint that we haven’t seen the last of the new winners.Should have swapped with Denny. It doesn't matter how the crew screws up when he's going to restart in the back anyway.
Thought the same thing!I just find it so funny that the team that spent more time preparing for the single lug stops than anyone else is struggling the most.

Bell is in 8th place, Wallace 25th. Looks like a decent move.
Here is the problem. I only see one that could be considered driver error. If that crew is that bad on Bell's car send them down the road ugh.
@Revman.....unless you are afraid of my response.Bell is kinda used to it. They held him a year longer in Xfinity, then they moved him to cup and put him with Levine family racing driving the older junk JGR had. So now preacher jerks the rug out from under him when he is having his best year. I would be looking at an exit strategy if I were him, but knowing Bell, he will drink the cool aid. (in before Rev tells us we are all nuts but he isn't)
The pit crew scapegoat thing pisses me off. Not sure that anybody in sport has gone from nothing to the best without some sort of screw up along the way. That is sport. That is why we watch. If we treated our drivers the way the pit crews get sold down the river, we wouldn't have anybody left on the grid. Where the hell did "...win as a team, lose as a team...." go? Bottom line....both crews will be fine. I'd recommend that Brian Haaland (the pit crew coach at JGR) adopt the Justin Marks philosophy of give me 11-12 second stops consistently and don't screw up in stead of the sexy 9 second stops.Sometimes a change is better than a rest.
These guys might surprise us.
Then @ me sport. I am here for ya.no, but I have been needing a good laugh
This is over the line..apparently JGR thought so also. These guys are supposed to be professional. You don't see this comedy of errors in the truck seriesThe pit crew scapegoat thing pisses me off. I'd agree if all the JGR-managed pit crews had a similar number of issues this season.I'd recommend that Brian Haaland (the pit crew coach at JGR) adopt the Justin Marks philosophy of give me 11-12 second stops consistently and don't screw up in stead of the sexy 9 second stops.
Probably because they know first hand how bad they are?I'd agree if all the JGR-managed pit crews had a similar number of issues this season.
What I find odd about this change is that it involved a JGR car. Why not keep it all within 23XI and swap the #23 and #45 crews? Kurt's already locked in.
And Hamlin, Truex, and Kyle have enough tenure that they don't have to put up with that bullcrap?Probably because they know first hand how bad they are?
You do understand that the trucks are five lug...which has been used forever....and Cup is single lug, right? Haaland needs to get into some heads, and get them away from the sexy stops in favor of Marks' philosophy. Just keep them consistent. These guys are supposed to be professional.
