2022 World of Outlaws

Violent crash on the opening lap involving Parker Price-Miller and JJ Hickle. Slow to get a report on PPM, who climbed out of the car but immediately collapsed. Will be a complete restart.

Knoxville continuing to top itself for pre-race / parade lap hype.

Full of surprises. Sunshine leading early. Larson pops a RR 12 laps in and will restart from the back. Schatz not handling well and had faded to 7th. Huh.

Courtney still leading at the midway fuel break, setting a blistering pace. Gravel lurking in second, McCarl still third, Brent Marks moving through the field to fourth, followed by Macedo and Schatz. Schuchart has come from the B to 7th already, he's done this before and finished second a couple years ago from the back.

Yep, Don is back. Schatz methodically picks off the top five to claim his eleventh Nationals title, but first for a while. Gravel led until four laps to go and settles for another disappointing second. He's overdue. Logan Schuchart charges to third, Courtney fourth, Jacob Allen fifth, Larson sixth. Great racing.

Damn first cancer for PPM now this

Also remarkable is Jacob Allen's fifth place finish. He didn't make it out of the D-Main in 2021! Another sign of his unprecedented turnaround.

if you can force your self not to look at anything when the races are on, then wait about a hour after, woo will put the races on youtube. last it didnt work well because someone showed donny winning, before woo put out there video, oh well it works most weeks

We had a fantastic 15 days in Knoxville with family and great friends! Now I need a week to recover from being on Knoxville time. 3 hours from home yet.

So happy for Donny. His car was carp early but man they got it tweaked to peak at the perfect time. Respect!

Too many highlights to mention, but the one that tops the chart is Mike and Janet Larson stopping into our camp for an hour visit.

Ranking right up there is Paul Silva borrowing my truck and trailer again on qualifying night and championship night to get the car and gear into the track, then to the car wash after the races.

now ,that is a great week.

If you were wondering where Kaseys been

Sheldon Haudenschild wins Night #2 at Skagit, after James McFadden looked poised to win for the first time in exactly a year, but faced another heartbreak. His shifter cable came lose and caused yet another DNF for the Roth #83. Jacob Allen finishes second, and Carson Macedo third.

I hope we see Buddy Kofoid go full time with the Outlaws eventually. I know he’s usually an All-Star guy but yeah. Tyler Courtney as well.

Me too! But I am wondering if Buddy has his sights set on NASCAR and moves to the truck series before going full time with the WOO?

OK guys, first post. I am from Concord, but have never been to World Of Outlaws. We have friends coming from California to watch. I have seen plenty of NASCAR and looking forward to it. Tell me what people think about The Dirt Track? Do the drivers like?

I went in 2019 and had a blast. Is it the best dirt track on the circuit? Not by a long shot, but it's still fun. Hopefully they have their dust issues settled now. The best part is wandering the huge pit area with all the cars.

I have been able to hear them from my backyard. I am looking forward to seeing this up close.
