Ty Gibbs is a terrible teammate who wrecked the guy who brings the money to the table aka Brandon Jones and he absolutely should be wrecked by Brandon Jones at Phoenix…. The fans will love Brandon Jones forever and I PERSONALLY will buy a Brandon Jones hat if that happens.

Also Tyler Reddick aka the B+ driver HIMSELF finished last on Sunday (an F performance for a B+ driver…. Underachievement) before the BS Brad Keselowski disqualification LOL can’t believe Toyota is trading Kyle Busch to Chevrolet for a package of Tyler Reddick + Ty Gibbs. I can’t wait for KFB to wreck Ty Gibbs and for Tyler Reddick to finish 14th in points next season.

Dude. He stopped racing because his head felt weird. With how **** been this season for drivers this is really really tasteless

Like no reason to bring him up in a thread about Ty. Talk about being a terrible person

I applaud Reddick for the tough decision he made.

I agree with your Jones/Gibbs take. Gibbs is a (talented) punk, and whoever takes him up to the wall will gain a lot of fans probably.

Well festivities started early. Giddy Up, I got nothing else going on on a Tuesday Night, just went from an average night to a B+ night
Thank you! By no means am I saying Tyler reddick is a BAD driver….. he’s just not Kyle Busch and he will NEVER win a championship! Because B+ drivers don’t win titles!!!

Ive thrown enough rocks at Ty Gibbs this year.

Just waiting for Phoenix.

At this point, I hope he doesn't get banned. It's becone a good running gag.

Hey folks...what do you think of when you think of Ty Gibbs?

Me? When I think of Ty....I think of Tyler Reddick....and how he's only a B+ driver.

He has no likable or redeeming qualities as a nascar bad guy. Just character flaws.

I thought he was someone I wouldn’t mind see succeed. But he’s taken the petulant child act that sits in the 18 and ramped it up with some pretty ****** acts on the track. Aside from some squabbles with Keselowski and his BS move on Hornaday in the truck series, KyBu was not a dirty driver IMO unless he was retaliating. Damn this kid is taking a**hole to a new level.

I think it’s time for a nickname for Ty.

Can we agree on…PROBLEM CHILD?

I don't want to characterize a person after only being around them for a few seconds. Seeing him at Bristol, he does seem a bit arrogant. At least he didn't run and hide from us photographers unlike several other drivers. He seemed to relish the moment.

I'm sure he DOES relish the moment. You can't compare yourself to Jesus and then go hide in the hauler. It's one thing to not be liked by everybody, but when you continually exhibit such a complete lack of self awareness, I don't know where you go from there. If you are a driver looking to get a ride a JGR, do YOU want this assbag for a teammate? Do you want to sponsor him? Do you want to work on his crew?

Exactly how I felt about Dale Sr. What an a**hat. His team had same attitude though. If Dale had driven up in the stands to win the race, his team would have had zero issue with the dead bodies.

Ok...maybe that's a little harsh...
so sorry.jpeg

Should honestly make him stay in Xfinity for another year, and find someone else for the 18 car in 2023. Show him his actions have consequences. It’s how you make a driver learn.

Raise your hand if you didn’t do stupid crap when you were 19.
I’m glad there were no cameras when I was 19.
Punting his teammate was a dick move. This isn’t the brightest 19 year old I’ve ever seen.
He’s going to be around for a while.
Let’s hope he learns and redeems himself.

I definitely did a lot of stupid things well past being 19 years old and I am so thankful they were not documented or recorded anywhere.

But the unique and incredibile opportunities that he has been given also demands a unique and incredibile amount of responsibility. It is probably to much for almost any 19 year old to handle but it his life and he had better figure it out.

I also hope that we will be talking in the future about he overcame it all and got his act together. It will take some time to turn it all around for others to recognize the changes. He is going to have to earn the respect.

It would be a fools errand to saddle a 19 year old with an incredible amount of responsibility.

Except when you are freakin raised in a high profile racing family and you have been groomed for this for years, then damn right I expect a LOT more out if him. Did Kyle Petty act like him? Dale Jarrett, Dale Jr, Ricky Hendrick, Chase Elliott, William Byron, Eric Jones, and on and on? The kid MAY turn it around, but right now he is an entitled privileged punk that needs a thorough dressing down until he understands that neither the world , NASCAR or JGR revolves around him. This is about more than him just being a jerk, it's about the damage he did to JGR's and Toyota's efforts in the Xfinity Series. If he didn't fully understand the situation, then he truly has no business in a Cup car.

Max Verstappen turned out pretty damn good.

Martin Truex Jr is a B+ driver who won a title.

Bobby Labonte is who my mind went to for B+ drivers winning championships. Not a lot of champions who were in the sport full-time for 20 years and only won in 9 seasons, just 3 seasons with 3+ wins.
