Ty Gibbs Is a Bad Person

Let's rewind shall we, Ty races Larson at Road America with all the respect for the win does it clean with "maturity", and nascar fans are ready to throw Gragson under the bus for intentionally wrecking Sage Karam causing a pile up. So all of this is rich coming from Gragson.

Now, we get to Martinsville where no one has ever made a mistake dive bombing someone on entry ever :sarcasm:, and the outrage is off the charts because it's Ty Gibbs and it's on a teammate (but we hate team orders and playoffs).

It's very clear many nascar fans have already made their mind up they're going to hate this kid no matter what he does, and that's fine do your thing the sport needs villains and rivalries.
Holy **** welcome back!

Even though Ty took his teammate out of the playoffs, the rule has always been in the Championship race you better not be involved with shenanigans with the Championship contenders. That is the way NASCAR looks at it, so Sam does face fines and suspension if he gets involved. You may think thats right or wrong but that's the rule.

It should be fair game under certain circumstances. Lol

No kidding. This year it is a good chance it will be different. There are some good cars that aren't in the final 4. KDB has a fast one, Harvick, Hamlin, Reddick, Suarez etc. Those guys aren't going to lay down and kick up their feet if they have a good car.

Nobody said they had to.

Gragson is waging a psychological war on him. If he can somehow guilt trip Ty Gibbs in to having the smallest bit of empathy then he'll have an easier time tonight but we will see if that's even possible.

Kinda put a fender on Ty for his own good lol.

Couldn't agree more, some folks on here love to hate Ty.
He's gone from nowhere to being an Xfinity title contender and in contention for a top-tier Cup ride within two years, he has a lot of attention to deal with.
Wrecking his teammate out of the Final 4 (and comparing himself to Jesus after doing it) is obviously a total bonehead move and Ty has pulled several bonehead moves this season.
I have said several times that Ty has plenty of maturing to do but I don't get why some suggest that he will never change .
Kurt Busch remained an antagonist well into his 30s and yet happened to be a very popular driver during his final years in the Cup Series.

Unfortunately he has provided plenty of ammunition that's downright comical.

Kurt was one of the biggest turnarounds I've ever seen, I used to not like him going back to the Dr. Jerry Punch interview, now I like him.

Can one of the mods change my name to just StewartHaas Racing? Between Kyle leaving and the older I get the more insufferable I find Joe Gibbs and not liking Ty I need a change lol

Could it be
Gibbs wants a replacement for the kind of driver Kyle was……..win at all cost…nothing else matters
so Ty is being groomed in that fashion

it worked for Kyle………why not Ty

You cant teach or groom that kind of Talent, he took on Jr Motorsports mano a mano and knocked them out even with them adding Mayer in at the end. 4-0 I dont excuse Ty for what he did to Jones, it was a bush league and he deserves every boo he got. I did take great pleasure watching Gragson eat his vomit during his " evisceration tour" in the media. Hey Noah, that boy out drove you straight up and he's better than you.

Rob Albright is reporting on Pat Patterson's Race Day Show on NASCAR Radio that there were serious conversations inside JGR and with all partners including Toyota about sitting Ty for the Championship. Wow.

Better hurry up and climb down before they start throwing stuff and whatever you do don't be climbing the fence

They might be telling people that to sound good, but I don't believe that for a second

"They" aren't telling anybody anything. Albright didn't name sources, but he isn't an idiot. I do believe it. I know that it sounds obvious, but Ty seriously pissed everybody that matters (the fans' opinions don't....see Kyle Busch) off.

me neither. Pious Joe can't say where Ty is going next year he says. Like where in the hell is he going to go anyway lol. That bunch is screwy from the top down.

I'd have to classify that as one of those "accidental" leaks lol! I don't care who he pissed off, nobody at JGR or TRD is going to pass up a chance at winning a championship

Didn't you also here Ross was considering giving up his spot in the final 4 because he decided his move gave the sport a bad look? lol!
