Here is a thread to share your predictions for 2023.

-Tyler Reddick gets exposed and gets outperformed by Bubba Wallace. Dude is a stupid B+ driver and Toyota is not inherently better than RCR at least it wasn’t in 2022.

-Kyle Busch wins 4 races and makes the Final 4. Dude has an absolute resurgence with a team that actually cares about him. He is the most talented driver in the field and stupid Joe Gibbs and Toyota sold him out. For no reason I might add. It bit them in the ass because Denny Hamlin got ousted by Ross Chastain for the Final 4 and Christopher Bell could not win the championship because even though he is talented, he is not an anchor driver. Not the #1 option on a championship team….. even though he got the entire 18 team. At least not yet! Kyle Busch could’ve won the title though if Toyota hadn’t blown two of his motors.

-Ross Chastain wins the title…… most badass driver in the field.

-Brad Keselowski gets his final career win at Talladega. Dude wins at Talladega all the time and he’s due for one more.

-Ryan Blaney goes winless once again.

-Truex falls off and doesn’t make the playoffs not because there are 15 winners and he’s 4th in points…. But because he straight up isn’t performing well.

-Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott blatantly wreck one another….. probably Chase wrecking Larson because he’s a crybaby a**hole who throws a fit when he doesn’t get his way. Larson is clearly the better driver. Larson’s crew is very happy because he made the Owners’ Final 4 and they got that bonus…. Chase did not because he laid an egg the entire playoffs. Any other driver does what he did to Kevin Harvick at Bristol 2021 and they get crucified. But he got CHEERED.

-Chase Elliott’s playoff performance carries over and he spends the entire season running 10th.

-Kevin Harvick wins 6 races and gets screwed out of the Final 4 because of NASCAR’s officiating again or a penalty, and he flames NASCAR and retires.

-Alex Bowman finishes 21st in points and loses his ride….. no driver has ever come back to peak performance after a concussion.

EDIT: It is my 25th birthday wish me a happy one.

Chase Elliott goes winless in 2023 but makes the playoffs lol

His use of the word "stupid" to describe Tyler Reddick and company is master class in trolling tantrums.

I think Kyle Busch will win, but not quite attain 4 wins or reach the final four. Then again, he lit up the scene as soon as he crossed over to JGR, but RCR is no JGR even now… they just had some really talented driver give them their best season in years.

The Chastain and Keselowski predictions are believable. Chastain becomes champion and Keselowski/Buescher, as well as Erik Jones and Bubba Wallace, will become additional faces in the playoffs.

All it takes is a win for a differentiator between this year and the next, and I think Martin has a viable chance of getting 2-3. I do wonder if he’s fallen off a bit though. It was a weird year for MTJ fans.

I’ll be concerned if Blaney goes winless yet again but I doubt he will. Him and the team just have to clean up and not let opportunities go begging, and he direly needs a bit of killer instinct.

Elliott and Larson will likely have some moments, but nothing as hyperbolic in the OP.

Elliott also doesn’t labor through quite as mediocre a playoff run next time, attaining at least two wins in the playoffs alone.

I can see Kevin Harvick flaming NASCAR happening before 6 wins at this point. I think 4 is (generously) about where the ceiling is for this driver, which is still not bad. However, I anticipate Chase Briscoe to further step up as the potential #1 SHR driver with more of a breakout season. Aric, unfortunately, I don’t have the same optimism for at the time of writing.

Alex Bowman will return after the off-season happier, healthier, and recapture multi-win form with a new crew chief to -at least- get to the round of eight.

I predict that Larson, Elliott, Chastain, Bell, Logano, Reddick, and maybe Briscoe show up as the preeminent contenders for wins - let alone the ones to watch for the title - more often than not. Hamlin, Harvick, Kyle Busch, and MTJ are still here but it’s looking like the torch is being passed in real time going by how things went throughout ‘22.

There. Happy Birthday!

I predict for 2023 our buddy @WhiningSmoke will be limited or moved along on here like he was on Reddit. You can almost figure out why it happened on Reddit

I dont think OP should be banned. He doesn't spam post and to the best of my knowledge he doesn't attack or slander other posters. If you dont like his threads/posts just dont respond and he'll stop posting.

I’m not going to report him nor ignore him. Both take too much effort for my liking nor do I care that much. I just think he’ll catch the wrong mod on maybe the wrong day and if the mood of the board swings against the guy. At this point for me it’s just meh

Tyler Reddick will win 4 races and make the final 4.
Christopher Bell wins the championship.
Kyle Busch will win two races
Harvick will win four races and leave SHR after the 2023 season as previously announced. But we will learn that he is not retiring. He along with Rodney Childers will sign on to return to Chevrolet for 2024.

Jeff Burton will retire due to jaw arthritis .
A pre-race wardrobe malfunction will happen with some exquisite nipple exposure during the invocation and national anthem.

I’ll add that it will likely be Richard Childress’s nipple.

I will once again NOT participate in any championship or race next season, but will criticize those that do :D
