Truex (who himself is overrated and was always only as good as his equipment) managed to win races on speed at different track types for different teams, and also was never at the top of the list for most wrecked cars. So, yeah.

Stenhouse is not a great driver but is good at Daytona and Talladega, I think both can be true.

How many times do they use the phrase “If you’re in it you can win it” in the lead up to plate tracks. Sometimes that proves to be more true than others.

It’s a 36 race season, usually like 33 of them are won by someone you’d expect. It’s fun to see someone different occasionally, whether you really want it in the 500 or not.

No you obviously don’t understand. Because you keep talking about this specific race. I’m talking about the Daytona 500 in general. Winning it is a huge deal, anyone who’s ever been in NASCAR, would give their left nut to win the Daytona 500. Do we have bad races? Sure. But it’s still a huge deal

They have found a place where they can huddle together and try to spread their total lack of control. lol. They will ignore any attempts to point out their behavior. They will show up next week, say the same things, and make themselves more miserable.
