The bigger restart zone means the leader has more room to check up before going.

Not sure that’s what happened here, could’ve been the 42 being on eight lap older tires.

But I still hate these things. You can wreck the entire field from behind by playing games.

I'm sure there are a lot of fans that purchased their tickets before they knew it was going to be so cold...and decided to stay home today and watch from the comfort of their nice warm house.

A few years ago at Kansas Speedway, it was I believe in the 30's. It was cold! We still enjoyed the race, but were ready to get back to our car ASAP after the race was over. I think next time, I might casually try to sneak in a heated blanket and extension cord.
