Cup RACE thread --- 600

That’s cool I didn’t know Charlotte had AstroTurf on their infield. Wonder if it’s really Astro Turf or Field Turf, I like when I watch these races and learn something

Every infield shot looks like it's 1985. Mud, grass, tents and pop-ups. Nice change of pace from $100k RVs that are usually in the infield these days

Larson's going to win this race 🤬
Him or Byron.

Every race it’s either Larson or Byron. Best drivers, best cars, best teams, best engines, best everything.

Hendrick is so far superior to the competition. They’re the SEC and everyone else is Conference USA.

I’d say Gibbs is the Big 10. They get one every now and then. Penske is the Big 12

Byron is not in Larson’s league.
Larson is the best driver at HMS by a long shot.
What holds Larson back is his aggression. He’s turned a lot of top-5s into DNFs going for broke every lap and has turned a ton of wins into devastating losses.

Byron is so methodical. He’s not even human, just consistent every lap every race, rarely makes mistakes, and finds ways to win races he has no business winning.

William Byron is like Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon in their prime. Never flashy, but often insanely dominant.

Larson is fun to watch because he’s all out with his balls out all the time, but Byron is positioning himself well to win countless races and championships.

Larson will win more career races than Byron.

Mike sounds like he’s about had enough of this weekend. Also insanely interesting listening to Tony talk about his double experience
